Happy Pet Spa policy

We will not, under any circumstances, cause pain to your pet. This means:

If your pet's coat is matted to the point that it can't be humanely brushed out, it will be scissored or shaved. This may affect the quality of the finish. Ask your groomer about how to care for your pet's coat to reduce or eliminate matting between visits.

If your pet is nervous, aging, sensitive, or experiencing stress, we may elect to stop and bring your pet back for a second visit. We will not rush the process; time, patience and understanding are essential to building a positive relationship with your pet.

If your pet has health issues such as arthritis or hip dysplasia, we will not force him to stand for long periods, this may affect the quality of the finish.

Finally, we will not, under any circumstances, administer sedatives of any kind.

To ensure that your pet is relaxed before their visit, try to take him/her for a walk and give them a chance to relieve themselves before arriving at the spa.
